We're planting a seed
The entire aviation sector accounts for roughly 2% of global greenhouse gas emissions. The business aviation segment accounts for 2% of all aviation and 0.04% of all global man-made emissions. The business aviation community has pledged to improve on these levels and deliver less CO2 emissions than currently recorded.
Pula Aviation Services is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its operations. Its work to deliver sustainability and environmental impact improvements at all levels began in 2019 and aims to be Carbon Neutral by 2050.
Pula Aviation Services is continuously improving its environmental and reduction activities. It proactively promotes the operation of a fleet of aircraft equipped with advanced engine technologies and is evaluating the use of sustainable fuel technologies. By working on its own initiatives and with partners, a suite of sustainable energy and forestry projects will be available, ensuring Pula Aviation Services' target of a carbon-negative in-air operation will be achieved by 2050.
Improvements are being implemented in all areas of activities, facilities, utilities and infrastructure. All non-recyclable plastics will be removed from our operations by the end of 2024. Pula Aviation Services will remain a recognised supplier of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and work with industry partners to promote SAF uptake.
