Pula’s Aircraft Sales team is pleased to announce the completion this week of the acquisition of a Citation 550 Bravo jet on behalf of a UK based client.
We worked together with DragonFly Executive Air Charter who are to operate the aircraft on behalf of the first-time buyer, to research, locate and secure an aircraft that satisfies the client’s specific requirements. The aircraft has an exceptionally low total of flying hours and is in immaculate condition.
Because of Covid restrictions many steps of the transaction were carried out on a virtual basis, such as a video tour and inspection of the aircraft, and the review of the aircraft’s maintenance records. The thorough pre-purchase engineering inspection was conducted by engineers in Austria where the one-owner aircraft has been based since new. Close collaboration with the seller, who provided a comprehensive insight into the aircraft’s history and condition, enabled the buyer’s team to make informed decisions at each step.

We only saw the aircraft “in the flesh” for the first time when the aircraft was flown to the UK for its verification flight. We were duly impressed! The transaction presented challenges to overcome because of European travel restrictions but we were able to proceed with confidence thanks to the full support of the Seller.”
The aircraft will now be registered with the UK aviation authority and is to be added to DragonFly’s Air Operator’s Certificate.
